Father arrested for allegedly abducting his 6-month-old twins

Collaboration between North West and Gauteng police has led to the arrest of a father who allegedly kidnapped his six-month-old twins.
The person, 37, was arrested in Evaton, the Vaal, on Wednesday in connection along with his youngsters’s disappearance final November.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Sabata Mokgwabone stated they have been allegedly kidnapped in Rustenburg, North West, and their father was traced and arrested in Gauteng.
The youngsters have been reunited with their mom in Rustenburg.
Mokgwabone added the person was traced and arrested by the Rustenburg Household Violence, Baby Safety and Sexual Offences Unit who was supported by Gauteng Crime Intelligence and the Evaton Tactical Response Staff.
The dad and mom have been separated and staying elsewhere in Rustenburg when the person allegedly kidnapped his youngsters.
“Based on the dad and mom’ settlement, the daddy was answerable for taking the twins to a daycare centre each morning, whereas the mom fetched them within the afternoon. Nevertheless, the mom turned fearful when she was knowledgeable by workers on the centre on 26 November 2020 that the daddy did not drop the twins.
“Makes an attempt to name or hint the daddy at his enterprise premises yielded no outcomes. The matter was then reported to the police for investigation. The suspect is anticipated to look within the Rustenburg Justice of the Peace’s Court docket on Friday, going through a cost of kidnapping,” stated Mokgwabone.
