Iran threatens to halt implementing IAEA further protocol

TEHRAN – The Iranian International Ministry mentioned Monday that if the events to the Iranian 2015 nuclear deal don’t adhere to their commitments, Iran will cease implementing the Further Protocol of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
In response to the US withdrawal from the nuclear deal in 2018 and re-imposition of sanctions, Iran has stopped implementing elements of its obligations below the deal
The ministry’s spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh mentioned that “the regulation of the parliament is totally clear … if the opposite social gathering fails to adjust to its obligations, the IAEA’s Further Protocol inspections shall be suspended.”
He confused that the tip to the the IAEA’s protocol inspection “doesn’t imply the expelling of IAEA inspectors.”
Final week, Iran launched 20-percent uranium enrichment course of as a part of Iran’s Strategic Motion Plan to Counter Sanctions which was authorised by the parliament in December 2020.
