The suspect is predicted within the Hlabisa Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom on Monday, a month after he fled and was apprehended whereas hiding in Buxedene, Nongoma.
In line with police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele, a two-year-old baby was assaulted with a picket stick “as a result of she had messed herself” on October 14.
“She was then taken to the personal mortuary and the workers have been knowledgeable the kid couldn’t breathe. Through the examination, it was found that she was fatally assaulted and had been sexually assaulted.”
A case of homicide had been opened for investigation which resulted within the 29-year-old suspect’s arrest.
In a separate incident, a 37-year-old man has been arrested for his spouse’s homicide in Hibberdene.
He’s alleged to have shot her in Leisuredene on November 7, Mbhele stated.
“She sustained gunshots wounds to the pinnacle. The suspect reported the matter to the police, claiming that the deceased was shot by two unknown males.
“Intensive police investigation linked him to the homicide.”
Mbhele stated the person will probably be charged and is predicted to look within the Umzumbe Justice of the Peace’s Courtroom quickly.
