The KwaZulu-Natal Division of Training has condemned the burning down of Zwelinjani Secondary College in Durban, after pupils allegedly turned enraged over poor marks they’d acquired.
“There are claims that the hearth began after chaos erupted when faculty reviews had been issued to learners who felt that the outcomes they’d obtained weren’t what they deserved. The learners allegedly accused lecturers of giving them unhealthy marks,” division spokesperson Kwazi Mthethwa stated on Thursday after the incident.
He stated emergency companies had been known as out to Zwelinjani Secondary College in Zwelibomvu, within the Pinetown District, earlier within the day.
