“There’s an curiosity”
Tessa Thompson says she’s “hopeful” that Marvel may make an all-female film sooner or later.
Talking on the pink carpet of her newest film Annihilation, the Thor: Ragnarok actress mentioned that there is undoubtedly “an curiosity” in spotlighting girls in Part four.
“I am not Marvel so I can not make it occur,” she instructed IGN, “however I can let you know that Marvel is vastly collaborative, I believe our even our Thor [Ragnarok] film was principally the product of conversations they’d had with Chris [Hemsworth] and with Mark [Ruffalo] about what they needed to do subsequent. I believe [Marvel boss] Kevin Feige is basically excited by the concept, and if you happen to take a look at what’s occurred already in Part four with me and [Thompson’s character] Valkyrie and our story, after which in Black Panther the ladies rule supreme.
“There’s an curiosity – they’re doing Captain Marvel, they’re doing a Black Widow – there’s an curiosity in having girls on the forefront of this part. I really feel prefer it’s hopeful, who is aware of.”
