“Nes i sylweddoli’n syth mai llun o ‘nhaid oedd o wrth gwrs.

“Roedd adroddiad papur newydd y llynedd yn dweud mai’r dyn yn y blaen sy’n edrych yn syth at y digital camera oedd yr unig un i oroesi, ond roeddwn i’n gwybod yn wahanol.”

“Doedd o ddim yn siarad llawer am y rhyfel, ond mi ydw i’n ei gofio fo adeg Sul y Cofio… fydda fo isho cwmpeini bryd hynny, ac o’n i’n eistedd hefo fo sawl tro.

“Roedd o’n crio drwy’r rhaglen (Seremoni’r Cofio) yn enwedig pan oedd y pabi coch yn disgyn.

“Dwi’n cofio fo’n sôn mai’r peth oedd yn ei daro fo fwyaf oedd colli ffrindiau.

“Un enw dwi’n gofio oedd Gruff Penygroes… dwi’m yn gw’bod os oes un o’r gwrandawyr yn gwybod pwy fasa fo.”
